I had to prove to myself that it was possible. From recording the background noises and my voice with my phone to producing the entire track in one day with my headphones in a hotel room, this track is the epitome of "on the road" production. It may not be perfect, but it made me extremely uncomfortable to work this way. And that's a good thing in production. Growth only comes after growing pains. That's what this song is about. About the pains before the growth. The hurt before the healing. It's real. And as uncomfortable as it is, it's necessary. But there is hope. Stay the course. The sun will come out soon.
